It invites individuals to take a walk into nature on their own and to give themselves permission to connect with it in a very symbolic ànd physical way: by entering a space which is merged with nature and through music inspired by nature itself. It is a place of safe introspection where solitude meets unity and the invisible becomes visible.

This project was located in one of the most breath-taking landscapes of the Basque Country, as Zumaia’s Flysch. It was a festival which took into account the options that our surroundings provide us and used them to produce a music festival, broadcasted online. We guarantee that the Basque Country’s heritages are visualized in an electronic music festival.

The program is an element of climate change adaptation through the use of nature-based solutions that promote local rainwater management and increase biodiversity. Built in lime and hemp, the studio is reached by a natural path. The oblique and soft angles, the white lime, suggest the place of thought.

    Migration of Matter - How can design express the evolving symbiosis between humans and plants

    Today, the Earth's biodiversity is being lost at an alarming rate. By embodying elements of lesser known plant species, our project can highlight this issue and increase knowledge of the natural world. Each 3D printed clay artefact tells a unique story. Aesthetically, we take inspiration from little known, weird and wonderful plants and fungi by 3D scanning them and giving new life through parametric design using local clays and pigments from the same regions as the objects we re-imagine.
