    The beaches in and around Barcelona are part of a densely populated area under heavy pressure due to its high logistic, urban and touristic value. Most coastal ecosystems have disappeared. This project aims to protect and regenerate beach-dunes through a series of actions encouraging public participation, thus raising awareness about the environmental importance of dunes. It is also attached to improving infrastructure and access to the beaches, so all can keep enjoying these valuable natural sites.

    Wind farm maintenance base

    This building is the maintenance base for the first offshore wind farm of Saint Nazaire, in France. The program and the design were carried out through dialogues with neighbours and the wind farm company. It's composed of an office part, dedicated to supplies storage and preparation, and a warehouse part. The project purpose a simple answer for social, environmental, climatic and aesthetics issues. It's mainly made of biobased materials, and also by a heating and an hygienic economical system.

    A new green residential area is being developed on the site of the former hospital "De Lichtenberg" in the Dutch city of Amersfoort. The area has a rich culture and is characterized by - for Dutch standards - very sloped terrains which were created during the ice age. House Lichtenberg overlooks the whole historic city whilst being next to the rural forests of the Veluwe. An authentic environment to create a unique nature-oriented home on the border of this urban and rural area.

    Mil Pássaros

    Mil Pássaros (1000 Birds) is an installation based on a shared process. The “countless hands” of children and adults gave rise to birds, which were later brought together in a visual and sound “murmuration”, tuning in to the desire for a better world. These paper birds, or orizurus, were made using the art of origami, and in Japanese culture they are a symbol of peace and happiness. It is also said that after making a thousand orizurus, wishes come true.

RibeiroLandArt has been created by the artist Rebeca Ponte descendent of migrants grandparents Who moved to the city after the war. The summers of childhood in O Ribeiro marked her art.
