    A New Season

    “A New Season” stems from the need to reflect and help people reflect on the role of Man within the environment,offering the audience an interpretative key that goes beyond a traditional execution. Vivaldi describes an unspoiled nature. Quite different is the bitter vision of how Nature has been depleted by human intervention. This interpretation offers a “chiaroscuro” sound: on one hand, Nature as it was and could return to be, while on the other, Nature violated as we're unfortunately witness.

    Green Shades

    Green Shades. The first green awning

    The Green Shades system is the first awning system that allows vegetation to grow by projecting seeds on its surface. It´s a lightweight structure of tensioned PVC sails that is installed on the façades, providing shade to the street.  The project incorporates a beam that runs along the street, in which a pipe is integrated for water supply, water collection and lighting. The main benefit of this project is that it helps to alleviate the heat island effect of city centres.

    Tuliuss

    Tuliuss is a pathway created in Vaskjala, Estonia, which highlights the biological diversity of the location, mimicking the European glowworm (in Estonian: Tuliuss). On the Tuliuss pathway, installations that glow in the dark offer new narratives related to the ideas for taking more time to rediscover our connections with natural surroundings. The pathway and the artworks can be found based on an online map that offer a unique experience especially at night.

Using purely the natural, intrinsic properties of wood, furniture pieces are produced in an efficient and compact flat state, materially programmed to shape themselves when unpacked. It happens effortlessly, in silence, without human interaction, tools, or assembly instructions. The project uses material programming to harness the unique potentials of sustainable materials and practices.

    DACWEED

    Detection and ACtuation system for WEED management based on intelligent agrochemicals sprayers.

    The main expected outcome and impact of DACWEED is to reduce the agrochemicals in the agriculture production. In this way, through automatic detection of weeds and intelligent specific sprayer to provide a healthier and safer food chain. In addition, this system is based on the ISOBUS  communication protocol (ISO11783) in agricultural machinery. Since ISOBUS is implemented in current tractors and is open source code any farmers with ISOBUS in his tractor could make use of this system.

    Liturgical space for Pontifical Mass during the pastoral visit of Pope Francis in Šaštín

    The Holy Mass, celebrated by Pope Francis in Šaštín, was the solemn end of his pastoral visit to Slovakia. The liturgical space for this event was created in the fields near the Basilica of Our Lady of Sorrows. The overall urban design of the area and the architecture of the presbytery for the Pontifical Mass were realized according to the winning design from the architectural competition announced by the Bratislava Archdiocese. Parts of the building have been reused or recycled to 100%.

    While the newly laid-out market square retreats to the maximum in its design through its homogeneity and unexciting nature, thus declaring the historic half-timbered buildings in Bad Salzdetfurth's old town the main actors, the revitalisation of the access to the Lamme River in the form of a stepped structure also forms the auditorium for marvelling at nature. The interaction of man and river is just as much a goal as the subtle mediation and great appreciation of the historical heritage.

Stands out due its: high energy saving,high levels of acoustic and thermal comfort,excellent interior air quality and construction based on natural and healthy materials.

    Through the daily care of the lake as well as the creation of the Lake Gallery, a carefully maintained public recreation area has been created, which is a favorite place of the city's citizens not only from the nearby housing estates. Creation in its surroundings leads people to the natural need to take care of nature, order and motivates them to be part of the creation itself. The diversity of birds has increased, flowers and people can follow the craft during the carving itself.
