    Design for an architectural rug (2022)

    My proposal is a kiosk made out of reused plattenbau panels whose form is inspired by the weaving process of Annie Albers. The design aims to interlace the natural landscape with the built environment until they are both speaking the same language in an almost rhythmic composition mimicking the weaving process that unifies separate components. The project aims to improve our relationship with nature by bringing the community of Dessau, Germany closer to their natural surroundings.

The main attraction of the event is the exhibition of several show gardens, created by outstanding artists. The COVID-19 pandemic has created a clear need for green spaces. Our event is a response to this need. By combining elements of the natural environment, gardening, adaptation to climate change, art and high aesthetics, we have created the InGarden.

    Liturgical space for Pontifical Mass during the pastoral visit of Pope Francis in Šaštín

    The Holy Mass, celebrated by Pope Francis in Šaštín, was the solemn end of his pastoral visit to Slovakia. The liturgical space for this event was created in the fields near the Basilica of Our Lady of Sorrows. The overall urban design of the area and the architecture of the presbytery for the Pontifical Mass were realized according to the winning design from the architectural competition announced by the Bratislava Archdiocese. Parts of the building have been reused or recycled to 100%.

    Wetland Visitor Centre and Observatories

    Visitor Centre and Remote Wildlife Observatories in the Lonja field, Croatia

    Exploring the protected landscape of Lonjsko polje, one of Europe’s largest wetlands, is planned through a network of entry-points and observatories placed within it. The visitor centre samples rural morphologies, creating a new social focus within the village. The observatories connote centuries of anthropogenic and natural symbioses, of a border condition, in a bestiarium of markers and vistas. They become a ludic element of the landscape, a new species echoing the locally familiar.

    "The Epilobs" project consists of the construction of 84 social housing units, divided into 7 buildings set on stilts with heights varying from R+2 to R+6, allowing a volumetric transition with the neighbouring blocks. Built in raw concrete, these masses of varied forms touch the common spaces with a field character and are naturally connected to the Mussonvile park, a real urban forest.
