II. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
Please provide a summary of your project

On the 130th anniversary of the birth of the North American poet, playwright and feminist, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and on the cusp of the 100th anniversary of the awarding of the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, for «The Ballad of the Harp Weaver», we recover one of the most influential female creative voices in 20th century culture, the modernist current and the interwar avant-gardes of the 1920s and 1930s.
She was the first woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1923, as it is known, and one of the few women to win it throughout her history. She is passionate about the moment with a strong social, feminist and activist commitment, she is a tireless fighter for Human Rights and for the care of her environment. In the stage adaptation of her life, the lived and written lines of her biography, her work, her vital and artistic concerns are outlined, which made her be as she was, along with other creators. who accompanied her. “My candle burns on both sides. In this context, the montage fills the void that there is on the scene about this great poet and playwright. In March 1925, she answered an ad in the New York Times for an abandoned berry farm on a hilltop in Austerlitz, New York, a few hours’ drive north of Manhattan. The price tag on the 435 acres, a farmhouse, and various barns and outbuildings, was $9,000.  Millay and Eugen moved quickly to secure the deal, and soon purchased another 300 acres as well. Millay named their new home “Steepletop” after the pink-flowered Steeplebush that grew wild in the fields and meadows there. “It
